The border was just an attempt at having a visual element that could be used on all the novels and prequels collection to tie them together. I'm still very much in the brainstorming stage.
Make the head lighter in color than the background. Right now the colors are too close in shade and intensity. Lighter would make it 'pop' a bit. Orr you could lighten the background and the darker figure would sink into it.
I was wondering if the figure popped enough. Maybe altering the intensity and tone of the mist might help him stand out mote. I'll certainly be playing with it more in the coming weeks.
The addition of red is nice, but not as a border....maybe as a highlight elsewhere? Just a thought
